The tour combines <strong>3 hours of trekking on the ice, a 4-hour hike through the Patagonian Andean Forest, and sailing in front of the glacier<\/strong>, including a toast with whiskey and ice from the glacier. <\/p>\n<p>During the walk on the ice, you can admire unique formations such as blue lagoons, deep cracks, eternal sinkholes, and, occasionally, ice caves.<\/p>\n<p>The excursion starts from <strong>El Calafate<\/strong> with hotel pick-up at <strong>6:45 a.m.<\/strong>, traveling 78 km to the <strong>Perito Moreno Glacier<\/strong>. First, there is a visit of approximately 1 hour to the glacier walkways. Then you arrive at <strong>Puerto Bajo de las Sombras<\/strong>, from where you sail for 20 minutes to the south coast of the lake.  <\/p>\n<p>Then begins a 2-hour trek through the <strong>Patagonian Andean Forest<\/strong>, partly on moraine, to a spectacular viewpoint.
