Once past the lighthouse, the boat continues eastward, allowing you to enjoy expansive views of the channel and the imposing mountain range that accompanies the Fuegian landscape. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">During the cruise, you can identify <strong>two points of great interest in the distance: Puerto Almanza<\/strong>, on the Argentinian side, recognized as a traditional artisanal fishing village where <strong>products such as king crab and mussels stand out<\/strong>; and the <strong>Puerto Williams Naval Base<\/strong>, located in Chilean territory.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Upon arriving at <strong>Martillo Island, the boat stops its engines off the coast for penguin watching from the catamaran<\/strong>, respecting their natural environment. Two species coexist on this island: the smaller <strong>Magellanic penguin<\/strong>, with its characteristic black and white plumage that allows it to camouflage itself in the water, and the <strong>Gentoo penguin<\/strong>, noticeably larger and known for being one of the fastest swimmers, with males reaching up to 8 kg in weight. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On the <strong>return journey to Ushuaia, the cruise takes place closer to the Beagle Channel coast, providing an excellent opportunity to observe the local flora and fauna<\/strong>.
