Description
A unique horseback journey through the Estancia 25 de Mayo Nature Reserve, where you can feel the immensity of the Patagonian fields, discover ravines, streams, and stories of the southern gauchos. A tour that combines nature, tradition, and adventure, culminating in an authentic country lunch in the Arroyo Cave, in the heart of the steppe.
The excursion begins in the historic center of Estancia 25 de Mayo. There you will be greeted by the local team, who will provide a technical safety briefing and introduction to the tour, in addition to providing the necessary equipment (helmet and gaiters).
With everything ready, we start the ride from the corrals, entering the vast fields of the estancia towards the south of the Calafate Stream valley. During the journey, we will cross ravines, streams, and rock formations that bear witness to millions of years of geological history.
As we move forward, the hosts share stories about rural life, gaucho traditions, and the natural history of the region. After approximately an hour and a half of riding, we arrive at the Arroyo Cave, a natural refuge where the gauchos prepare a delicious country lunch, with typical Patagonian flavors and a toast with wine.
After a rest and time to contemplate the landscape, we begin the return to the estancia along a different path, enjoying the last panoramic views of the steppe before ending the experience.
