Description
Estancia Cristina Classic combines sailing on the Upsala Glacier with a day in the countryside at the historic Estancia Cristina. During the experience, enjoy panoramic views of the glacier from the boat, visit the Museo Costumbrista next to the estancia’s chapel, and take an easy trek to a nearby waterfall.
The excursion can begin with a transfer from El Calafate, with hotel pick-ups starting at 7:30 a.m., then heading to Puerto de la Cruz in Punta Bandera, 47 km from the city. For those who choose to start from the port, the presentation will be at 8:30 a.m.. The boat sets sail at 9:00 a.m., sailing through the North Arm of Lago Argentino to the Upsala Channel, where you can see the western front of the glacier surrounded by imposing icebergs of various shapes.

The day combines adventure, history and unique landscapes in an environment that keeps the Patagonian essence alive. After the activities, begin the return to the Port of Punta Bandera and later to the hotels in El Calafate, arriving at approximately 8:00 p.m.
