Description
The All Glaciers tour invites you to discover the most impressive glaciers of southern Argentina on an unforgettable day aboard modern boats. Sail among icebergs, enjoy majestic views, and feel the immensity of Patagonia from an exclusive perspective, getting close to the Upsala and Spegazzini glaciers and disembarking at Refugio Spegazzini.
If the All Glaciers tour is booked with transfer from the hotel in El Calafate, the pick up will begin at 7:00 a.m. to go to Puerto Punta Bandera, located 47 km from the city, where the boat departs punctually at 9:00 a.m. Those who travel on their own should go directly to the port at 8:30 a.m.
On board, the catamaran begins its navigation through the North Arm of Lake Argentino, crossing the Boca del Diablo, to enter the Upsala Channel. During the tour, you will experience the thrill of sailing among huge icebergs that break off from the Upsala Glacier.
The trip continues to the Spegazzini Channel, offering panoramic views of hanging glaciers until reaching the Spegazzini Glacier, with walls that exceed 135 meters in height.
In front of the glacier, the boat docks at Base Spegazzini, from where a short accessible walk begins towards Refugio Spegazzini. This modern and cozy space offers panoramic terraces, a restaurant with regional cuisine, and all the necessary amenities. In addition, the infrastructure is accessible, with ramps, floating docks, adapted bathrooms, and trails designed so that all visitors can fully enjoy the experience.
The new Spegazzini Glacier walkways and the Agostini Viewpoint complete the day with spectacular views of the highest glacier in the National Park, in perfect harmony with nature and environmental conservation.
At the end of the visit to Refugio Spegazzini, you return to the boat to sail back to Puerto Bandera and then board the bus that will take you back to El Calafate, after having enjoyed an unforgettable full day excursion in which you visit the Upsala, Spegazzini, Seco, Heim Sur, and Peineta glaciers.
For those looking for an even more distinguished experience, the Captain’s Club category offers maximum exclusivity. This premium option includes personalized attention, preferential seating on board, catering and beverage service during navigation, access to private lounges, and additional benefits that elevate the excursion to a superior level of comfort.
In front of the Spegazzini Glacier, disembarkation takes place at Base Spegazzini with VIP access to the Refugio, panoramic terraces, and first-class regional cuisine.
