Description

Viedma Adventure combines extraordinary landscapes, sailing among ice floes, and hikes with unforgettable views in a day that deeply connects you with the essence of Patagonia.

The journey begins at Puerto Bahía Túnel, located just 18 km from El Chaltén. There, after boarding, the navigation begins through the turquoise waters of Lake Viedma, a glacial mirror surrounded by mountains, forests, and floating ice formations.

The initial route heads south, skirting the coast and offering privileged views of the Huemul Massif. After about 40 minutes of sailing, we arrive at Bahía Cabo de Hornos, where a low-difficulty trek begins. The path ascends gently to a natural viewpoint from where you can contemplate the magical Bahía de los Témpanos (Iceberg Bay).

Then we return to the boat to experience the most anticipated moment: getting close to the front of the Viedma Glacier. From the deck, you can see in all its magnitude the immense ice wall—the largest in Argentina—with its bluish tones, cracks, and changing textures.
