Cancellation and Modification Policies
Nomada Expeditions
The client may cancel or modify their reservation free of charge up to 24 hours before the start of the service, except in the case of group bookings, which have a special policy detailed below.
How to cancel or modify your reservation?

Cancellations more than 24 hours in advance
- There are no charges.
- 100% of the amount paid will be refunded.
- The refund will be made using the same payment method and currency chosen in the original purchase.
It is important to bear in mind that, although the refund is processed immediately, the time it takes for the money to be credited to the user’s account or card depends exclusively on the bank or payment platform used, and may take up to 45 business days.
Nómada Expeditions is not responsible for the crediting times established by these entities.
Modifications more than 24 hours in advance
- There are no administrative charges.
- No penalty applies for changing the date.
- If there is a rate difference, the user must pay the difference.
- All modifications are subject to availability on the new date requested.
Cancellation and Modification Policy for Groups
A group booking is considered to be any booking that includes between 8 and 12 passengers.
Group bookings may be canceled or modified free of charge up to 96 hours before the start of the service.
Once this period has passed, cancellations or modifications will not be accepted, and a charge of 100% of the value of the reservation will apply.
In the case of reservations for more than 12 passengers, the client must consult in advance the specific cancellation and/or modification conditions, as these reservations will be subject to a special policy defined according to each specific case.
Cancellations or modifications less than 24 hours in advance
- There will be no refund of the amount paid, regardless of the reason for the cancellation or modification.
No show
- In the event of a no-show at the start of the service, a charge of 100% of the value of the reservation will apply.
- Claims or refund requests will not be accepted, even in situations of force majeure.
Exceptions for medical reasons
Exceptionally, in order to analyze a possible cancellation or modification with less than 24 hours notice, the user may submit a medical certificate within 72 hours after the start of the service.
Conditions of the medical certificate:
- Must be issued by a doctor registered in El Calafate.
- Must belong to a local medical institution (public hospital, local private clinic, or home doctor).
The certificate will be evaluated by the Service Provider, who will make an exceptional decision regarding the possibility of authorizing a cancellation, change of date, or eventual refund.
The deadline to communicate this decision will be up to 5 days from the presentation of the certificate.
In the event that a cancellation free of charge is approved, this will only apply to the people mentioned in the medical certificate. Refunds or cancellations will not be made for passengers not included in the documentation submitted.
