The Helicopter Flyover in Tierra del Fuego tour invites you to discover Ushuaia and its surroundings from the air, with unique panoramic views of the End of the World, the Beagle Channel, mountains, islands, and glaciers. This aerial experience allows you to fly over the city of Ushuaia and enjoy emblematic landscapes such as the Laguna Esmeralda and the Carbajal Valley, from an unforgettable perspective.
The activity begins at the old airport, where you will first see the helicopters. The flight takes place in Robinson 44 Raven I aircraft, with capacity for up to 3 passengers and a minimum of 2 passengers to confirm the tour. Its design with a front window from ceiling to floor offers excellent panoramic visibility, ideal for appreciating the Fuegian landscapes without restrictions.
After a short safety briefing, the flight over Ushuaia Bay begins, continuing towards the Olivia River Valley, with privileged views of Mount Olivia and Mount Cinco Hermanos. As the landscape becomes more imposing, the Carbajal Valley appears, recognized for its extensive peat formed over thousands of years.
The adventure continues through the valley to access a second mountain range that houses the impressive Laguna Esmeralda, famous for its intense color that varies according to the season: emerald green in summer, deep tones in autumn, and completely white during the winter. This natural environment is one of the most visited attractions at the End of the World.
The tour includes a 15-minute flyover of the Carbajal Valley area, with the option to extend the flight time to explore other areas of the Andes Mountains, the Great Lakes, and the Beagle Channel, and even, in some cases, make descents in the mountains.
